Installation guide for the UHF app
UHF is our recommended IPTV app for all Apple devices — iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. It's fast, stable and designed with the user in mind. Most users are up and running within a few minutes.
This guide walks you through how to install and configure UHF with your QPlay account, step by step.
What you need
Before you start, make sure you have the following to hand:
- An Apple device — iPhone, iPad or Apple TV
- Your QPlay Xtream credentials — server address, username and password
- An active internet connection
Your Xtream credentials can be found in your confirmation email or on your account page at qplay.tv.
Installation step by step
Step 1 – Download UHF
Open the App Store on your device and search for UHF. Download and install the app. It's free to download.
Step 2 – Open the app and add a playlist
Once the app is installed, open it. You'll be greeted by a welcome screen prompting you to add a playlist.
- Tap "Add Playlist" or "Add Source"
- Select "Xtream Codes" as the connection method
Step 3 – Enter your QPlay credentials
Fill in the following information from your confirmation email:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Name | Anything you like — for example "QPlay" |
| Server address | The URL you received from QPlay |
| Username | Your username |
| Password | Your password |
Then tap "Connect".
Step 4 – Wait for content to load
UHF will now fetch all your channels, movies and series from QPlay. Depending on your internet connection this usually takes between 10 and 30 seconds.
Step 5 – Start watching
Once loading is complete you'll find all your content organised into categories — live TV, movies, series and more. Navigate using the remote or your fingers depending on your device.

Frequently asked questions
I can't find UHF in the App Store — what do I do?
Make sure your App Store is set to the correct country. UHF is available in most countries but may be missing in certain regions. Contact our support team if you can't find the app.
The channels won't load — what could be wrong?
Check that you've entered the server address correctly — this is the most common cause of login issues. Also verify that your internet connection is working and that your QPlay account is active.
Can I use UHF on multiple Apple devices?
Yes. Log in with the same Xtream credentials on all your Apple devices. Remember that you can only stream on one device at a time per subscription.
The app is asking about a subscription — do I need to buy something?
The core functionality of UHF is free. The app may offer optional purchases for extra features, but you don't need to pay anything within the app to use QPlay.
