Getting started with SET IPTV
SET IPTV is an IPTV app with broad device support — it works on Samsung Smart TV, LG Smart TV, Android boxes and mobile devices. Like Ibo Player, SET IPTV uses a web-based management page to activate and configure your account, rather than entering your credentials directly in the app.
It takes a few minutes to set up, but once it's done it works smoothly across all your devices.
Step 1 – Install and launch the app
- Open the app store on your device:
- Samsung TV – Tizen Store
- LG TV – LG Content Store
- Android – Google Play Store
- Search for SET IPTV and install the app
- Launch the app — on the start screen you'll see a MAC address that identifies your device
Info
Just like with Ibo Player, you don't enter your QPlay credentials directly in the SET IPTV app. Configuration takes place via SET IPTV's website from a computer or mobile device instead.
Step 2 – Add your QPlay account via the management page
- Open a browser on your computer or phone and go to SET IPTV's management page
- Enter the following information:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| MAC address | The address shown in the app on your TV |
| Playlist name | QPlay |
| Playlist URL | Your server address from QPlay |
| Username | Your QPlay username |
| Password | Your QPlay password |
| Port | 80 |
- Click Send or Submit to push the details to your device
Tips
Your QPlay credentials can be found in your confirmation email or on your account page at qplay.tv.
Step 3 – Restart the app
Once you've submitted your credentials via the management page, the app needs to be restarted to fetch your content.
- Close the SET IPTV app on your device
- Relaunch the app — or restart the device completely
- After restarting, your live channels, movies and series should load automatically
Varning
It can take up to a few minutes for the app to fetch your playlist after you've submitted your details. If nothing appears immediately — wait a moment and restart the app again.
Step 4 – Activate the app after the trial period
SET IPTV offers a 7-day free trial for new users. After that, a one-time fee is required to permanently activate the app on your device.
Activation is handled directly via SET IPTV's website — this is a cost that goes to SET IPTV, not to QPlay. Your QPlay subscription is managed separately.
Troubleshooting
Something not working as expected? Try the following:
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Channels won't load | Check that the MAC address and QPlay credentials are entered correctly |
| App shows a blank screen | Restart the app and wait a couple of minutes |
| Wrong channels are showing | Check that you've entered the correct playlist URL |
| App is asking for activation | The trial period has expired — activate via SET IPTV's website |
Frequently asked questions
Does SET IPTV work on my Samsung or LG TV?
Yes. SET IPTV is available in both the Samsung Tizen Store and the LG Content Store and works on most modern smart TV models from these manufacturers.
Can I use the same QPlay account on multiple SET IPTV devices?
Yes. You can add your QPlay account to multiple devices via the management page. Each device has its own MAC address and needs to be configured separately. Remember that you can only stream on one device at a time per QPlay subscription.
What happens when the free trial expires?
You need to pay SET IPTV's one-time activation fee via their website. Without activation the app will stop working after the trial period. Your QPlay subscription is not affected.
Do I need to contact QPlay to activate SET IPTV?
No. You handle the entire activation yourself via SET IPTV's management page. The only thing you need from us is your Xtream credentials, which you'll find in your confirmation email or on your account page.
